A lonely fish
swims in a lake of fire
Its wings are gone, it cannot fly
Sitting outside on the stoop
A man stumbles up to you
He demands money and your soul
He only leaves with cash
Your soul is in the hands of Lucifer now
All he does is let it bleed about
An engineer is surveying a healthy land
Days of hard work he is never seen again
A man could wait for a light to come
Doing so would result in his face being gone
The figure in the mirror yells back
But nobody is near enough to hear
We all have become deaf in part of the crowd
Break them apart and they aren’t so loud
The hair of the beast will make a nice pelt
Too bad none of us thought about how that felt
The lightening storm has blown past with no death
It’s a shame there are very few people left
Overreacting is a daily routine
Like B.I.G. said
“since the age of thirteen, a chubby nigga on the scene”
What have we done to wrong all this right
Cant be our attitude, or the animals
we pick to fight
Maybe our thoughts and how we opened many doors
Not that either, cause we are all selfish whores
I don’t feel like writing so good evening for now
I will see you soon, remember it is a small town
